A Week in Tokyo
My final week in Tokyo was a work week. I would sleep in, maybe go out in the late afternoon, and then work into the night so I could be online at the same time as the Workinman home office.
Here is just a bunch of random pictures of the places I went and the food I ate.
Tomato beer
Cheese curry noodles surprisingly delicious
Seiko made Kastu
Strawberries and cream sandwich and salty lichi drink
This strong lemon drink is consumed by those with a cold, but I enjoyed the sour soda as a casual beverage.
7-11 soda and pork katsu
My room’s toilet had this faucet above the tank which runs after a flush, saving water.
Cheese crackers (made with crispy dry cheese), gummies, spicy sesame crackers
Pepsi with vitamins
Japanese queuing.
Fried chicken with salt
Chocolate covered grape gummies, chocolate covered raisins.
Cakes that look like read dinner foods.
Vending machine with LCD instead of glass.
Seiko’s father arranged a steak dinner for us in Ueno.
The chef cooked the steaks over a fire in the corner of the restaurant
Very delicious western-style steak
Convenience store fried chicken
Nice grocery store near my hotel in Keikyu Kamata
Best noodles of the trip. The pork was so soft and flavorful.
