Ghibli Museum

The Ghibli museum is located in Inokashira Park on the west side of Tokyo.

It is not an amusement park and it’s not really catered to kids. It’s a museum about the traditional animation process. A lot of it is dedicated to history and color.
It’s set in a gorgeous European style building (the interior at least) of the Howl’s era. The building is simply a work of art. Visitors also get to see exclusive Ghibli short films that are rotated occasionally. They do not allow photography at all in the museum. All the exhibits are in Japanese.

I enjoyed the Star Hat Cafe, which served quite a variety of Ghibli-property themed dishes…
