Last Day in Longsheng
Sunshine in Longshen
The next morning the clouds begin to lift and for the first time I’m experiencing direct sunlight and full blue skies in China. It’s getting hot, and I’m getting a bad cold.
We head down the walkway that leads to the main road we entered the valley in.
Rat, sausage, belly
We did some shopping. I bought some paintings on wood from the shop below.
Bought some local candy from this vendor.
We headed back up the mountain to continue exploring – see how high up we can go.
This fucking rooster kept me up all night.
The place is looking much better as the weather improves…
For breakfast…Bamboo Chicken (Chopped chicken cooked in a stalk of bamboo)
Spicy fried potatoes.
I’m feeing pretty sick at this point.
You pay a few Yuan to take a photo with someone in native costume.
Quick lunch before leaving for Yangshuo
Twice cooked pork
Bamboo Rice
Spicy fried potatoes
Jing gets us lost.
We find a couple of locals to help us get our luggage down from the mountain and we head to the road to catch the bus to Yangshuo.
